Experience
Co-Op Projects
Current
During my UMaine co-op, I addressed class selection challenges by contributing to a web application, improving the user interface for seamless class enrollment. More recently, in another co-op, I thrived in an agile team environment, playing a pivotal role in enhancing the NER Annotation Manager software. These experiences not only honed my technical skills but also underscored my commitment to impactful solutions at the intersection of technology and education, showcasing my dedication to collaborative teamwork.
Freelance Game Development
Current
Venturing into game development independently, I created and published a game that swiftly became the number one trending game on Fortnite. Maintaining a robust player base of over 115,000 daily active players within a week of launch, the game's success highlighted my capacity to produce engaging and popular content. In my freelance game development pursuits, I further showcased my versatility by crafting unique experiences, such as a Fortnite map written in verse and built in UEFN. This project demonstrated my ability to seamlessly blend creativity with technical expertise, adding a distinctive and engaging element to the gaming landscape.
Copyright Clearance Company Inc.
Internship - 2022
CCC is a company focusing on copyrighted asset management, I developed an interactive transaction visualization tool using JavaScript and the D3 libraries. The solution, seamlessly integrated into the company's workflow and tested with Storybook, showcased my ability to deliver impactful solutions in a professional setting.
Aware Inc.
Internship 2020
In my first developer role, I interned on a compelling project centered around testing AI image recognition. As a crucial team member, I designed and executed detailed test plans to assess the performance of image recognition algorithms. This initial position granted hands-on experience, enabling me to delve into the fundamental aspects of AI development and testing, cultivating essential skills for my ongoing journey in this dynamic field.
About Me
As a final-semester Computer Science student and experienced freelance developer, I bring a wealth of knowledge in programming languages, with a particular focus on Javascript/Typescript and Python. In my recent internships, I led the development of impactful projects, such as revitalizing the NER Text Annotation Manager, boosting performance by 15%, and contributing to a 20% reduction in widget loading times at Copyright Clearance Center.
These experiences have honed my systematic problem-solving approach and enhanced my proficiency in Python, Javascript/Typescript, Java, and C.
